BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church, Thorpe St Peter

The dial is set into the stonework above the entrance to the south porch. Across the top is ’G. S. 1747’, and initials ’T T’ are in a semicircle below the root of the gnomon. Upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI, with hour lines to the semicircle, and half and quarter hour marks in the chapter ring. The iron gnomon has a single, double-curved, strut. Compare SRN 7767 at Burgh-le-Marsh, almost certainly by the same maker.
