BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Embossed plate with motto ’Sunny Houres’. IIII - XII - IIII- VIII read from outside, with split noon and short hour lines to central 8-point compass rose labelled to NE etc. Divided to 30, 15 and 7.5 minutes. The gnomon has ornamentation to its sides. The dial sits on a circular sectioned rustic plinth.
