BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

This is a ’Spot-On’ dial by Piers Nicholson, with the slit gnomon to give an accurate reading of solar noon. The central circular dial section is of 318 diameter. Arabic numerals for 5am to 9pm with hour lines and divided to 30, 10 and 5 minutes. It is mounted on a cube of polished black granite.
