BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Dial House, Bray

The dial is located in the front gable of the house. It appears to be formed from embossed plaster work, painted in black and gold. Seven marks are shown, with no numerals but possibly intended as for hours 9am to 3pm. The gnomon is a single blade with sections of scroll-work beneath. There is are gold stars in the upper left and right corners of the dial, and crescent moons at the lower left and right. At each side is a stylised representation of an hour glass. Above the main dial, in gold, inverted sun-rays rise from a semi-circle.
