BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is mounted on the corner of the chimney brickwork to face south, supported on a projecting brick course and retained by iron cleats. Across the top the motto ’Qualis vita finis ita’ (As the life, so the end). Upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI with hour lines to a semicircular flaming sun around the gnomon origin, and short half and quarter hour marks. There is an iron strip gnomon with a single straight support.
