BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church, Potterhanworth

The dial is set into the south-west corner of the nave, high up and co-located with a south-facing dial (SRN 7741). Upright numerals I - IIII - VIII, with hour and half-hour lines. The gnomon is in a ’T’ shape, with a single support. Across the top some lettering, just possibly ’REMEMBER DEATH’. An oblong box at the upper left hand part of the dial also includes lettering, as does the lower edge, but neither area is decipherable.
