BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church (1), Potterhanworth

The dial is set into the south-west corner of the nave, high up and co-located with a west-facing dial (SRN 7742). Upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - V, with half and quarter hour divisions, and half-hour dots between the numerals. The hour lines radiate from the sector of a circle around the gnomon origin. Enclosed within the sector is a motto, ’. . . . ber Death’, (Remember Death?)
