The dial is on the N face (declining about 27 degrees E) of a cupola over the stable block roof. The E and W faces have clocks, and the S face has another dial (SRN 7725). Upright mornimg hour numerals, IV - VIII, and evening VII - VIII, all with hour, half and quarter hour lines. The gnomon, sadly installed the wrong way up, has a single curved wire support and has a face bar. Across the top of the dial ’Bulla Est Vita Humana’ (The life of man is a bubble). All the furniture is gold on a dark blue background. Not to be confused with Milton Hall near Cambridge
