BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Milton Hill House Hotel, Abingdon

The dial stands in a grassed area close to the house entrance. No motto or inscriptions were noted. There are dial plates in the E, S and W sides of a stone cube, and an EOT table on the N side. Upright Arabic hour numerals with hour lines and half and quarter hour divisions. All three gnomons present. Closer inspection welcomed - possibly a Francis Barker dial. On a high octagonal sectioned pillar, and topped with a substantial finial with ball.
