BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Clwyd Area

The dial is opposite the west door, on a narow baluster pedestal of fine-grained sandstone, 1550 high. The plain rectangular bar gnomon may be a recent addition. It is formed of two flat pieces of metal along the lines of the ’Spot-On’ dials designed by Piers Nicholson. The dial plate is very plain with no furniture other than numerals IIII - XII - IIII - VIII (read from the inside), and hour lines to a circle around the gnomon root.
