BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St David’s Chapel Stormontfield, Colenden

This is an exquisite square dial with a pierced gnomon coming out of a sun. Decorated with thistles, gilding and coloured polished pebbles in the centre of flower heads which glint like jewels. Motto of "Tak tent o’ time ere time be tint, for time will no remain". Gnomon pierced with "1837 VR 1897". Arabic numerals from 6am to 6pm. Commemorates Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee and was gifted by Mr R.W.R Mackenzie.
