BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Horniman Museum (10), Lewisham

The gnomon is in the form of a sunken Horniman ’H’. 5am to 7pm in Arabic numals, with the word ’Horniman’ in Morse Code in place of the 9am and 7am hour lines. Designed by John Moir, constructed by Ray Ashley.
