BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Height End Farm, Crawshawbooth

The dial is painted on the stone wall, possibly shaped in plaster. Across the top are the date 1725 (?) and initials IH. Upright Roman numerals V - XII - IIII in a square purple chapter ring, with hour lines to a gold sun face at the gnomon root (but the gnomon is missing).
