BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Fire Station, Hungerford

Inscribed at the top ’Ligueil - Hungerford". The towns are twinned, and a symbol of each is carved in the upper half of the dial face (an eye for Ligueil in France, and a six-pointed star and crescent moon for Hungerford). ’1980 - 1990’ is inscribed across the bottom of the dial to commemorate 10 years of twinning. Upright numerals VI - XII - IV - VI with hour lines but no subdivisions.
