BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

8 point compass star. Roman numerals read from inside, 4am to 8pm, using IIII for 4. Minutes scale on very outer ring. Arrowheads on half-hour lines No split Noon. Monogram (A ?) inside double circle to S of Gnomon. Inscribed ‘Tho Barnett Salop’ and ‘March ye 19th 1724’. Plain octagonal stone column 1370mm high, with octagonal mount stone recessed for dial.
