BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Dyfed Area

IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, from outside, with noon gap; decorative half-hour marks; outermost ring has 2-minute marks; inside this 10 minute intervals are marked with Arabic numerals. 8-point compass rose, with cardinal points marked ‘N’ ‘E’ ‘S’ ‘W’; central circle has engraved decorative scrolling. At the south in the hour ring and read from inside is the maker’s signature ‘R Glynne Fecit’; also at south and overlapping ‘S’ is ‘Jon Pryse’ read from the outside. Substantial pierced gnomon, after the style of Henry Wynne, Richard Glynne’s master. The pedestal is a parallel-sided square sectioned dark stone column, the central portion strongly chamfered to an octagonal section. On one side ’Time that is past thou never canst recall; / Of time to come thou art not sure at all; / Time present only is within thy power, / And therefore now, improve the present hour’.
