BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Maughains Church, Ruthin

On the south wall, east of the porch, between window and buttress. Engraved across the top: ’Dr Jones R Rowland / Wardens 1736’. Upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI, divided to half and quarter hours; sun around root of gnomon.
