BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Radcliff Quay, Bristol

A large 7-ring armillary sphere with a flat plate meridian ring. It was commissioned by The Standard Life Assurance Company. A small label states "Exploration: A Celebration of Bristol’s Seafaring Heritage". The dial is by James Blunt and the pedestal, approx 3000 high, is by Philippa Threlfall and Kennedy Collings.
