BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

East Lambrook Manor Gardens, South Petherton

The garden was originally created in the 1940’s, 50’s & 60’s by the late gardening icon, Margery Fish. The Gardener said that the dial had been there for a long time and has been moved to its present location within the grounds. It is a basic square dial; the stout gnomon is pierced with a large circular hole, and its tip is curved over. Roman numerals, but little furniture visible. The dial sits on a substantial square mount stone on a slender pillar supported by two cupids.
