BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Episcopal Church, Fyvie

The dial is mounted on the buttress to the east of the south porch, at about head height. It has upright Arabic hour numerals for 6am to 5pm, with hour lines to sculpted fan shape around the gnomon root. Half and quarter hours are marked by small ticks inside the chapter ring. Across the top of the dial plate, in script lettering, is ’Lex Dei, Lux Diei’ (The law of God is the light of day). The church was built in 1849.
