BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in West Midlands

The dial is in the rose garden, mounted on a stone baluster pedestal by Chilstone. There is an eight-point compass rose, with a curved EOT graph, and the motto ’Turn your face to the sun and the shadow will fall behind you’. Roman numerals 5am to 7pm, with 30, 15 and 5 minute divisions.
