BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Derbyshire

A bowl shaped stone on a pedestal 1000 high. Three time lines, with no sub-divisions, are marked between 6am and noon, and between noon and 6pm, indicating, if correctly delineated, 90-minute intervals. A solid stainless steel gnomon, also bowl-curved, and a s/s plate is set into the stone at the noon position.
