BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter and St Paul Church, Great Casterton

The dial plate is set into stonework above the entrance to the south porch. It is a replacement for SRN 5151, which had become badly eroded. The dial plate is chamfered and has had the two upper corners removed, as on the original. Upright numerals VI - XII - IV, with hour lines to a large square around the gnomon toe (top corners cut), and short half hour lines. Gnomon again modelled on the original, a plate with a horizontal support.
