BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

The dial is close to the entrance from the main road, in Section O. It is mounted on an octagonal tapering shaft on a larger tapering base. Roman numerals 4am to 8pm, from outside, with split noon and 30, 15 and 5 min divisions. 8-point compass rose at the centre, and motto ’Amyddst ye flowers I count the hours’.
