BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

The dial is in the Memorial Garden on a tapering square sectioned plinth on a three-stepped base. Roman numerals 4am to 8pm, read from outside, with split noon and half and quarter hour divisions. Four cardinal points marked at gnomon toe, sun face at centre, and motto ’Amydst ye flowers I count the hours’.
