BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Leics & Rutland

The dial is set into the stonework of a gable end above an upper window. It is formed of two stone plates, one above the other, and has a surround either of thin stone or of a wide band of mortar. The thin bar gnomon remains, having a horizontal support with small decorative scroll pieces above and below the mid point. No markings are visible on the dial face.
