BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

A cast brass dial on a plinth of three ’Graces’ and a male head skirted with flowers. There is a four-point compass star labelled N etc. Numerals VI - XII - IIII - VIII, oriented radially and read from inside, with no hour lines or divisions. Outside the chapter ring are the Zodiac signs and their names, with Capricorn at noon. Knuckle duster gnomon.
