BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Swithun’s Church, Pyworthy

An accurately delineated dial with cursive Arabic numerals, inscribed ’Pulham & Son, 71 Newman Street, Oxford Street, London W.1.’ Octagonal cross-section baluster-style polished granite plinth, with inscription on the base commemorating the safe return of the men of this parish who fought in the Great War 1914-1918, by John Sanders Esq of Yeomadon. Also a separate tablet to the four men who gave their lives. The memorial stands in a fenced triangle with a sign ’The triangle was refurbished in memory of Jim Tappin "hodger and villan" of Pyworthy Parish, 1966-2002’ Imperial War Museum UKNIWM No 2890.
