BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

A diamond shaped dial, between two first floor windows on the central southern block of the house (previously known as Eastfield). Ref 2 says the dial is inscribed ’17 Silas Wells 52’, but this cannot be read now. Ref 1 Gloucester Sites and Monuments Record, Area 18650. Ref 2 English Heritage Listed Grade II, 1983.
