BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Powell-Cotton Museum (1), Birchington

This is one of two sundials at this museum. It is a small square dial presumably replacing a larger circular one, and is inscribed ’1706’ and ’Memento Mori’. It is supported by an unusual, heavily tapering, fluted pedestal with a large mount stone with ’leaf’ edging. The dial is in the park area behind the museum.
