BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

An etched dial with, unusually, the gnomon root in the centre, leaving room for a widely spaced inscription: ’Evelyn Arnold / Our friend from the class of 2005 / We will always remember you / The sun still shines’. Hours V - XII - IV - VII, from inside, with long hour lines and half length half hour lines. On a fluted cylindrical pedestal 500 high. The dial is in a circular garden in fron tof the main entrance.
