BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
8-point compass rose labelled to NE etc. Motto at the south, read from the north: ’BE AS TRUE TO EACH OTHER / AS THIS DIAL IS TO TH SUN’. Circular EOT table. Numerals V - XII - IIII - VII, from outside, with split noon and hour, half and quarter ticks. All furniture in relief. Cast gnomon with integral scrolled support, set at too low an angle - approx 35 degrees. Slender metal pedestal and base to match dial design.
