BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hampshire

The dial stands in a walled garden. It is on a badly eroded marble plate, held aloft by an Indian Blackamoor figure in good condition, kneeling on one knee. The dial is inscribed ’Tho. Heath, London’, and ’Lat 52 12’. No date or EOT or other visible engraving. Roman hour numerals IIII - XII IIII - VIII, read from outside, with split noon. Divided to 30, 15 and 7.5 mins, with 1 amd 5 minute marks around the outside edge of the dial. Half hours marked by small diamonds. Gnomon 52.4 degrees, with no markings.
