BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

Large central area filled with 8-point compass rose labelled to NE etc. IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, from outside, with split noon, divided to half and quarter hours inside the chapter ring, 30, 15 and 5 minutes outside. Signed at the south, read from the north, ’J. WEBB / LONDON’. 12.5 mm gnomon with central flat circular support. On square mount stone 350 x 350, supported by parallel sided fluted pillar on thick block also 350 sq, overall height 1000. This report entered from photographs only. The dial appears to be in a wild grassed area some 50 yards south of the SW face of the building.
