BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Buckinghamshire

NOT TO BE MADE PUBLIC ON NET. Two large dials on tall brick/terra cotta tower at front of building. The dials are high up, too high really for a sundial. Rectangular White, could be painted slate or a white stone. Gnomons large, but correct for dial. SE dial VI - XII - II; SW dial VIII - XII - IV - VI; both divided to 30 and 15 minutes. Architect of the building Ewan Christian, prolific church (not Gothic) architect. Most famous work, The National Portrait Gallery, London. Listed Grade II, 1983. EH No. 1215100. Built for Marjorie and Alice Roberts 1882. In the Arts and Craft style. Datestone on terracotta panel, ’ER 1882’.
