BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St George’s Chapel (2), Windsor

Cut into the stone of the west end of the south front is a fragment showing little more than the hour lines 8, 9, 10, 11 at the lower border of a dial plate divided into halves and quarters. A small part of the right border of the dial also survives. The remainder may have been lost due to the replacement of stone and in any case there seems little room for a dial below the gargoyles and string course above it. It dates from the 18th century and measures about 1500w x 1000h.
