BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hestercombe Gardens, Hestercombe

This is a report on the pedestal by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The presence of a dial as reported in the first reference below is unsubstantiated, but a dial plate may still be in situ. Jekyll (ref 2) illustrated the pedestal with no dial. Further information requested.
