BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Guildhall, Faversham

Designed by C Daniel, made by Stuart Rowland and painted by Simon Scamp. The vertical gold line shows local sun noon, with zodiac symbols indicating the current sign. The equinox line crosses the noon line at a diamond in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. At the bottom ’E II R’ and ’MMXII’ for the Queen and the year of her jubilee.
