BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cricket St Thomas Manor, Cricket St Thomas

Aligned Roman numerals IIII - XII - IIII - VIII from inside with Noon marked as XII and 4pm as IIII. Noon gap and 30 and 15 min divisions. Short hour lines to large double ring. Inscribed at south, read from the north, ’M Holbeech / 1687’, and appears to be genuine. The gnomon is broken off, leaving a base along the dial plate, and the bottom of a scrolled support. Fluted baluster pedestal on large octagonal base stone. The square dial is small for the circular mount stone, suggesting it is not original.
