BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

Aligned numerals IIII - XII - IIII - VIII are used, read from the outside, with a noon gap, hour lines and 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 divisions. The motto is ’Tyme Flyes’. There is an eight-point compass rose around the gnomon toe, and two phoenix birds at the centre. The dial is mounted (180 deg out of position) on a square dial stone on a circular section plinth.
