BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

A memorial dial with Arabic numerals 4 - 12 - 8, read from outside, split noon, and half, quarter and eighth hour divisions. Sun face at centre, and four cardinal points labelled. ’Knuckle-duster’ gnomon and (false) date 1767. Around the perimeter "Let others tell of storms and showers, I’ll only count your sunny hours".
