BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Tydd St Mary

The dial plate is in good condition but lichen growth obscures some markings. There is lettering along the upper edge. Aligned numerals VI - XII - IV - VI, with hour lines to an oblique box around the gnomon root, half and quarter hour divisions, and a split noon. Iron bar gnomon with straight support strut. Ref: Mee’s "Kings’ England", Lincs.
