BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Old New House (2), Avon Dassett

VI - noon - IIII - VI, read from inside, with ’O’ for noon, and half- and quarter-hour marks. At the south, a sun head with flaming locks, and unusually what appears to be a neck and shoulders. The gnomon angle is 46 degrees. The dial stands on a baluster pedestal with a square mountstone, in the gardens to the rear of the house.
