BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Parham Hall, Hall Hill

Photo-etched dial? IV - XII - VIII outwards, divided to half-hours. Hour lines go to (single) origin. Noon gap. NSEW on periphery. Cast concrete (?) pedestal with square capital. Around edges of capital engraved motto: ’FORSAN ET / HAEC OLIM / MEMINISSE IUVABIT / MDCCCCLXXIV’. (Virgil, The Aeneid, ’Some day perhaps we will look back on this with pleasure’.) The ’V’ of JUBAVIT is half height.
