Dial in Sussex (W)

Made in the shape on an anchor with Roman numerals carved on it. Pedestal made from Portland stone to match the dial. It is an exact replica of the one built for an Admiral Penn who lived in a house situated on the point at Portland. The building became a hotel but it has now been returned to private housing.
