BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Perceval Square, Stornoway

Designed by Kate MacDonald with pupils and staff at the Nicolson Institute. The mathematics of the project were worked out by Physics teacher Anthony Tuffney. Hour markers were created by Stornoway Plastics, and engraved onto stainless steel by Gordon Diesel of Seaforth Road.
