BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Nicholas’ Church, Tolleshunt Major

Dial plate stained and corroded, gnomon missing; square sectioned stone pedestal leaning and overgrown with ivy. IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, from outside, with noon gap, hour lines, and 30, 15 and 5 minute divisions. 8-point compass rose at centre, and motto at south ’Time Flies’.
