BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Old School, Coltishall

A fine dial set within a brickwork surround, in the flintwork facing of the pediment over the front of the building. It has a protective brickwork cowl above, and rests on a stone ledge below. Aligned numerals VI - XII - IIII - V, read from outside, with split noon, full length hour lines, and short 30 and 15 minutes divisions outside the chapter ring. Bar gnomon with part-scrolled support strut.
