BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St George’s Park, Great Yarmouth

5-ring armillary sphere. Roman numerals 6 - 12 - 6 with hour, half and quarter hour divisions. The horizon ring is inscribed ’In celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth 1952 - 2002’; and also with the names of various locations and their distances from Great Yarmouth, and the location and Lat/Long of the dial. The plinth, a square sectioned polished black granite pillar, bears an inscribed plate honouring the local National Service men of 1945 to 1963, including those who died in service.
