BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Norfolk

Numerals IV - XII - IIII - VIII, with noon gap wider than the underslung gnomon, and incorrect delineation on each side. Hour lines, and 30 and 15 minute divisions. In the centre an elaborate sun face. At the south, a small 8-point compass rose, labelled only to N etc. Mounted on the square top of a circular sectioned baluster style pedestal on a square tiered base. Motto ’Make time, save time while time lasts. All time is no time when time is past’.
